Landmark Christian Academy was founded in 1979 and has graduated hundreds of students who have distinguished themselves in college and careers.
The mission of Landmark Christian Academy is to educate and train the whole student- physically, socially, intellectually and spiritually. Because every child is unique, we believe his or her education should be custom-made, with just the right amount of encouragement, challenge and accountability. Landmark Christian Academy is an extension of the Christian home, and the local church, in training young people with an emphasis on eternal values. Out staff is dedicated o working closely with parents in the training and development of the whole child. Our goal is to train Christian youth in the principles of God’s Word, stressing such vital areas as:
Leadership
Self-discipline
Responsibility
Integrity
Good Citizenship
Consistency
To achieve this goal we remain on the cutting edge of technology, with computer-based, self-paced curriculum delivered through the use of individual computers (for grades 3-12). Daily goals are individualized and self-paced with agreed upon targets for achievement. The curriculum is updated often to remain current with world events and advanced learning techniques. The computerize curriculum is balanced with some lecture classes, art projects and other activities.
Grades K-2 use the ACE curriculum presented in booklet format which retains the individualized, self-paced format. These ages spend a significant portion of the day in group sessions learning basic math and language skills.
